Bilge Drip Trays

Drips and leaks are not the only reason for a drip pan or tray under your engine, silly as it may sound, it is also there for the catastrophes, the accidentally dropped oil when topping up and fuel and oil from filters when they are being changed. There is the inevitable spill when you've got one hand to steady yourself and the other hand gingerly turning a hot oil filter, not knowing when, exactly, the last thread will release. You just don't have enough hands and rags to get it all before it is in the bilge. Once that stuff is in the bilge and not contained, or absorbed immediately , it is nearly impossible to get it up and you’ve now got the task of a full bilge clean-up ahead of you and then the contaminated water it ends up in the ocean.
