Moisture build-up or condensation on the inside fuel tanks, which if not removed, not only corrodes the inside of the tank, but can certainly also make engine starting much more troublesome.
With oil-fired central heating containers often the problem in many cases can be with too much condensation inside the plastic based container. On motorboats the water seepage into gas containers can certainly be the source of problems, especially if the water traps become overloaded.
The Water Magnet absorbs the water from 'under' the fuel and can be reused until eventually saturated. Quite simply drop the Water Magnet down into your tank and use the line attached to retrieve and inspect. The outer container/net keeps the internal sorbent product from growing bigger than the filler opening.
