The SpillTrapper® Pit Mat 600 is a heavy-duty, oil-selective absorbent mat designed for long maintenance areas, vehicle inspection pits, workshop pits and industrial servicing applications where oil, fuel and hydrocarbon leaks need to be captured over an extended area.

Measuring 135 cm wide × 600 cm long, the Pit Mat 600 provides six metres of continuous absorbent coverage and can absorb up to 150 litres of oil and fuel. Important Use Information

SpillTrapper Pit Mats are intended for compatible oils, fuels and hydrocarbon liquids. They should not automatically be used for acids, alkalis, oxidising chemicals, water-based chemicals or unidentified liquids.

Absorption does not remove the hazardous properties of the liquid absorbed. A mat containing oil, petrol, diesel or another hazardous substance should be handled and disposed of according to the properties of the contaminant, the relevant Safety Data Sheet and the site's waste-management procedures.

Mats should be inspected regularly and changed before their safe absorbent capacity is reached or if physical damage affects their ability to retain liquid.
